This is our wonderful Trace. He is truly a gentleman. A great house dog - loving & cuddly but not pushy. An alert barker but never aggressive. He would be outstanding in the show ring, but currently is too busy being a companion/seizure alert dog for our 27 year old son. (Priorities, you know.)

It's primarily of "Venetian" lines, (a very well known and successful kennel that produces marvelously tempermented dogs) many with tan points. Although Trace is black and white in appearance, being "tri-factored" he has "just a trace" of tan in his eyebrows and the sides of his cheeks.
He has sired several tri-colored babies, and more with "traces" of tan. If you get one of his - don't be surprised if the eyebrows turn as they age. He's a bit on the serious side (ie. his choice of a job); fun-loving and playful but seldom goofy (unless he's upsidedown wiggling and talking...)
Of the litters he has had, most of the puppies take after him with his very laid-back personality and cuddly demeanor. (And do a good impression of a dust-mop).
